Oh Lord, to think of me leading the life of a respectable citizen. I am noticing my symptoms, I am beginning to think of my past life, trying to analyze myself. I am actually taking my pen in hand to write about myself. I must do something to kill time. Until now I have prided myself not to allow common sense or a real thought to enter my mind. I have always sought to enjoy life as it was offered to me every minute and was always ready to make the best of it, without any afterthought, especially when it offered the pleasure of the voluptuous body of a woman. There I am at the zenith of pleasure. A Woman. Woman has been my life, woman was the cause of me having to leave my beautiful Berlin, it was on account of woman that I am here in this God-forsaken town of Ospedalette, woman's fault that I am thinking of my past, woman's fault that I am wasting all this precious ink. Woman is the cause of it all.
